Everything But the Squeal

April 26, 2011

Christien Meindertsma, author of "Pig 05049" looks at the astonishing afterlife of the ordinary pig, parts of which make their way into at least 185 non-pork products, from bullets to artificial hearts.

I’m not ashamed that he died so quickly. In ...

I'm a self-proclaimed #agnerd, who remembers her first big-girl t-shirt. It read “Proud to be a Farmer’s Daughter.” Over the years, the shirt may have faded, but my passion for promoting family farming hasn’t.

Yes! I do try to read every one of these blogs!
